The model
The distributor pays. The installer gets found.
A two-person installation business rarely has a marketing budget, and rarely has the time. The distributor behind the product does have a budget, and needs its installers selling well.
So the distributor sponsors the installer's business development package instead of the installer paying for it. The installer gets a site, social channels and ongoing maintenance. The sponsor gets co-branding on all of it, ad placements and a channel into a market it otherwise reaches through a price list.
The package stays live for as long as the sponsorship or the payment stays in place.
